Polytheism. Animism. Witchcraft. Folk Magic.

Hello and Welcome! You may call me Wren. Born and raised in Upstate New York, my fascination for folk magic, dark stories, and superstitions has taken me down a neverending rabbit hole of research primarily focused on Scottish and Irish folklore. I’m always learning, always researching and the only thing I’m certain of is that I will never be finished.

My path is largely devotion and veneration; an act of honoring the deities and spirits, the gods and ungods of my practice. It feels like a long time ago now, but I began with Celtic Devotional Polytheism and have almost come full circle.

2021 has so far been a year of upheaval for my personal practice, an influx of activity and change as things fall into place and shift my worldview. Throughout the course of my practice, fairy faith has been the one constant in my life. I am working now to navigate a sort of dual faith observance, between my obligations to the good neighbors and to the saints I venerate.

My purpose in writing for this blog is to share my research and explorations and of course, hopefully some pieces of my practice.
